Call for Sponsorship

Established in 1993, COSIT (COnference on Spatial Information Theory) aims to bring together researchers from different disciplines for an intensive scientific exchange. The conference is designed as a single track meeting that focuses on the most innovative and significant recent contributions in the domain of spatial information theory. COSIT is widely acknowledged as one of the most important scientific event in that field. COSIT is not backed by any particular scientific society but is organized as an independent enterprise. COSIT typically has had about 100-130 participants, 1/3 university professors, 1/3 researchers from universities and industry, and 1/3 advanced students (including Ph.D. candidates). COSIT'09, will be held in Aber Wrac'h at the Centre de la Mer in North West France, 21-25 September 2009.

Outlined below are the sponsorship options for COSIT'09. We welcome other suggestions to customize a package to better serve your marketing goals.

Donate several Scholarships of up to €750 each (including free registration) to students presenting a paper at the COSIT'09 conference or a COSIT'09 workshop.

The COSIT'09 conference program and the COSIT web page (www.cosit.info) are the main medium of publicity for the conference. The first preliminary version of the COSIT'09 call for papers will be available in September 2008. As the program evolves, the latest version will always be available on the conference web site. From September 2008 to April 2009 the call for papers will be widely diffused to those who might present and attend the conference: academics, industrials and PhD students from all over the world. The final program of the conference and workshops will be available in June 2009.

Your sponsorship will be active as soon as your donation has been accepted in writing and received. The program and web site will be modified as soon as it is possible to include your details.

Notice of change to the web site is sent automatically to those that request it.

This document is not contractual. Any offer of sponsorship will be considered on its own merits. The organisers reserve the right to refuse offers, judge the value offers, request sureties and change these conditions without warning.
