WORKSHOPS
Due to a breakdown in some aspects of the conference planning process, workshops were not organized until very recently. We realize that some participants have made their travel plans already. Since some have planned to arrive in time for Wednesday workshops without knowing what they would be, we felt a responsibility to provide some activities. On the other hand, some will arrive later on Wednesday, reducing workshop participation. As a compromise, we will have arranged a choice of two excellent three-hour workshops on Wednesday, and hope that most people who want to participate in a workshop will find one or both of these to their interest.
Workshop 1: Cognitive Engineering for Geospatial Services. 2-5 pm Wednesday September 14, 2005. Organizers: Martin Raubal (MŸnster) and Pragya Agarwal (Leeds). Registration is free, but please register with the organizers
Workshop
2: An
Introduction to formal ontology and how it can facilitate semantic
interoperability. 2-5 pm
Wednesday September 14, 2005. Organizer: Tom Bittner (Buffalo). Registration is free.
