COSIT 2019 will be hosted by the Chair for Information Science in the cosy Bavarian town of Regensburg! It's easy to get there via two close by international airports, Munich and Nuremberg. It is a vibrant, modern city, but also a city that is bursting with history, dating from 179 A.D. The University of Regensburg, where the conference will be held, was founded to be the fourth university in Bavaria in 1962.
Today, more than 23,000 students study in its 11 faculties, which offer more than 60 programmes of study.
The meetings will take place in the state of the art Vielbert Building, located on the campus of the University of Regensburg.
